Isnt it a wrong word to use for a journalist- CONFUSED. The role of many journalists worldwide is of only to disseminate news. Just give the plain fact to the audience. And that fact also should not clash with the company's liabilities. One should not be judgemental. Not be biased. Just describe and narrate , no conclusion. So the question is why should somebody be a graduate or a post-graduate? Ask a Class 10 student who knows the language nicely to describe and narrate and it will do it. We study because the public want the truth , to know the inside story, not just report.
General public trust you . Apply your brain and bring out how a particular news effects people. What are their liabilities and what are their problems. How the world moves. How a particular idea effects a generation? What is money transaction? What is politics? How does a tiger running in Bangalore can create havoc in Buffalow, New York? Lets analyse news- at least in print as we have only 'why' and 'how' of the 5W's and 1 H. Save somebody listen!
Very touchy !Keep on writting and breack the all forms of generalisation.
